I'm interested enough to at least watch the next episode. I think some things in the show could've been done better. None of the characters are particularly likeable. The guy who survived is kind of whiny, and he thinks he's engaged to a woman who clearly turned down his proposal. His priority is to find her, even though she walked out on him before the apocalyptic event.
Talk about suspension of disbelief there…
The Lion does not give a fuck. Bring. More. Sheep. -

Characters like that are frustrating. The audience is thinking, "Give it up, dude, she ain't that into you!"
Oh also, he writes/spraypaints all over the town, "BETH, I'M ALIVE" and things like that. -

Great review! Thanks Crystal. I have a feeling that it's not going to live up to the potential I thought it had. It seems to be dodging the big questions and dwelling on stupifying trivia. Maybe the next episodes will be an improvement. You said you're going to continue watching, so maybe you could give us an update occasionally?

Thanks! I'll watch the next episode and then I'll decide if the rest of the season is worth watching.
It kept me entertained enough to watch the first three episodes.
Oh yeah, one other thing. Some characters act like there's no food, and it seemed like it had only been weeks at that point. With half of the population gone, shouldn't there be a lot of food available? I guess we're supposed to assume hoarders got to most of it. I mean, look at last year ("in real life") with the toilet paper.
The streets in the show are full of cars, so I wonder if they'll show how the women get all those cars (most of which have corpses) off the road.
One other note: The guy's monkey is male too, even though male animals (dogs, rats, etc.) died. So somehow the guy and his monkey were protected. -

The monkey is always running away, and the writers think the audience wants to watch the guy chase his monkey around. Although one time, that part led to something important to the plot. But hopefully there won't be any more monkey-chasing scenes.
