Seth MacFarlane appears in two episodes of Enterprise, playing the character Ensign Stewart Rivers. It's a tiny role that could be easily overlooked (Like Christian Slater in Undiscovered Country) but shows that a Trekker is more than just someone who needs babyfed concepts of morality and decency by plebeians with crayons

It's a really small part and I think it's in season 3 for his first episode and a bigger role in a season 4 episode (Still a bit-part though).
It's things like this which make Trek magical. I've got to say that Holly Hunter was my main appeal to watch Academy and she's pushing all the right buttons for me in her role -

Everyone loved season 3 of Picard. Old fans, new fans, wokites, cavemen, everyone! It was a show that they could ALL agree on. Why didn’t they just do more of that?

Thanks for the recommendation Keelai but I really think that Trek died for me when Enterprise ended.
I do enjoy Academy, but not as Trek. More a kind of fun teenage tale of overcoming obstacles in life and finding out who you are kind of show. Great actors in curious roles and has a lot of potential to be fun. But it's not Trek -

I also regret seeing season 1 of Picard and didn’t watch most of season 2. I did like season 3 however, everyone did. All Trekkers agreed on it. They don’t need to do the divisive stuff. As we have seen with The Muppets, folks just want more of what they had before. If it isn’t broke then DO fix it seems to be the current motto.

Well they killed Data (Again) in Picard season 1 and they also killed off Jean-Luc himself.
All for nothing, just a skanky junkie with relationship problems and an Irish Romulan to get to talk about their cult
Nope, there was no Trek in it at all Bobby, not even a little bit -

Season 3 of Picard wasn't very good. All nostalgia bait. It was ok, and a better send off for the TNG crew than Nemesis (still the worst Star Trek movie of all time) but Picard Season 3 is probably the worst season of Star Trek in a long time

Well I struggled through the rest of Picard and didn’t even complete season 2, so it was better than these. Also I tried watching that other Star Trek show about a woman with a boys name and that also wasn’t as good as Picard season 3.

Yes I think that was it. I’ve mostly forgotten it now.

I hear you…the older I get, the harder it is for me to retain things too. The worst is when I watch a show and can't remember what happened the week before. Honestly, it's why I bailed on Game of Thrones. The show was good but they would take loooooong breaks between seasons and when they'd come back I didn't remember who anyone was.
But yeah, Discovery was REALLY good (well….aside from one very questionable story choice in season 3). Definitely worth a rewatch.
