no it doesn't. at no point do they preach morals to the viewer. they describe a situation where you might assume racism has caused a major conflict, but they don't explicitly say that. the enterprise does not make a judgement and doesn't assume either is morally correct or not correct. that decision is left up to the viewer.

People like you often confuse persistence and aggression as wins.
You're watching too much Destiny, bro.

It often does get explained to you, but you then go into rationalization mode. It just gets exhausting rather than productive.

                  where was it explained?
so far the only statement they made was "Let This Be Your Last Battlefield proves you're wrong."
saying something doesn't make it true. an explanation is required. logic must be applied. an argument must be formed.
since I'm the only one that has been able to explain why it's not woke, then I am the only one who has made a credibly claim.

Trek was a post-scarcity egalitarian future.
Everything after Enterprise has just been trying to freeload off the ideals established by Trek.
I thought 09 was fun, it should have been left there

I thought anything after Gene's TNG.
This new series feels like a Gene series. And I'm willing to watch past Trek series and episodes to understand the messaging better.

I personally say if it's not on the Enterprise (Whichever version) it's not for me
That said, DS9 was a good show and encompassed the ideals of Trek with a more sustained leaning into politics. Rather than going boldly it let things come to it. A nice pivot. Voyager was crap and there's no telling me otherwise

I never watched all of the Trek episodes after TNG. I read Trekonimics and Star Trek Ethics books which have me a new appreciation about what each series was trying to accomplish and what the characters' motivations were. I plan to watch Discovery, DS9, Voyager and Enterprise to see what I missed.
Whew! I'm going to be busy.

Well, apart from Discovery. I only watched the first 2 seasons but that was proper guff

I didn't watch Discovery, but hard-core Trekkies tell me they like it so I'm going to watch it. I think season 3 is when the series becomes good.

I didn't like season one of STD but I also remembering not liking season 1 of TNG and so stuck it out. By the end of season 2 it is very clear that the writers had backed themselves into a corner and were going to have to try and retcon everything they had done.
So while season 3 onwards might be the best show there is, it was a house built on sand and sadly I already know what happens to houses like that

Yeah, this show feels so incredibly "Star Trek". It's wearing it's love of the franchise and it's legacy on it's sleeve. I think Tawney Newsome (who loves Star Trek) being in the writer's room doesn't hurt
You're from the future?Well that's brilliant!Do they still have sandwiches there?

You mean to say that all the Star Trek fans up until recently were wrong about why they loved Star Trek?
These lifelong fans were wrong about Star Trek for 50 years and it's only recently that liberals are showing us the true meaning of Star Trek? Woke DEI is the message of Star Trek?
I suppose it's possible but could liberals possibly be any more arrogant?
