Ok we have Holly Hunter and Paul Giamatti in this, that's pretty good
Robert Picardo and Tatiana Maslany are in it and so there is that too
But Oded Fehr, Tig Notaro and Mary Wiseman are in it and that means that it has got an STD and this cannot be official Star Trek canon anymore

Well Paul Giamatti has had quite the illustrious and varied career Bobby and Holly Hunter has had an equally wild one (Winning an Oscar for leading actress in The Piano (1994)
).
Robert Picardo is The Doctor (Not that one, but lots of other ones) as well as the Johnny Cab and plenty of other things
But if they are adding the STD cast in then this show is dead in the water
