It feels more like a video game than a TV show. I think they’ve borrowed an idea or two from the last of us.
I love the way the action scenes are done in one take, or they seem like that. It looks amazing on a big screen in 4K too

yeah idk last of us but the camera work is really good and fast and so often so close to what is happening, it made me feel being part of the action a lot of times.
and yup, big screen helps

Ep 4 is very similar to the farm house episode of Gangs of London, which was also extremely intense and felt quite authentic in albeit totally OTT way

The YouTube video makes the episode look retarded as it’s truncated. It’s a great show though.
It’s directed by Gareth Evans, and the fighting scenes are similar to his Raid movies

Almost finished ep 5 and it’s good too. The slowed down focus on dialogue juxtaposes well with ep 4

It’s described as a horror comedy on Wikipedia, but that’s not really how I remember it. I mean, it was hardly Shaun of the Dead.
It was exciting and scary - with small humorous moments and satirical takes on modern society, from what I recall.
