It was the strangest movie and I thought it was rather poorly executed. The way they tried to do a double twist at the end was weird. The whole "don't let her out" thing was weird.
For one, how did she move around the walls throughout the walls? I don't think that ever gets answered. There are only a few glimpses of her at the end but they're reminiscent of another monster from another movie and it's only for a few moments.
Any movie that has one of those tiny doors is usually a prop for a lack of good writing.
I don't know why they locked Peter up in the basement unless it was out of fear, or even thinking she might get him and maybe that's what they wanted. The parents were messed up after all.

Yes and did they know she was there? Why did she only show up then? I just feel like it could have been a better movie if they didn't leave so much out. Did he stay in the house or did he leave? It's so confusing. -

the sister was a birth defect so parents got gothic on her.
they didn’t kill her. they locked her up in the house.
don’t know if she’s the kid that was missing that halloween night.
this is a typical don think too hard horror movie with endless plot holes and unexplained stupidity. I think I read some where they cut a lot out of the movie. plus I hated that 99 % of it was filmed in darkness. 3/10 -

The kid in the grave by the pumpkins was the missing halloween kid. I ended up Googling and got the low down. It was a pointless movie with two good leads that amounted to nothing. Waste of talent.
