This movie seemed like a parody of the first Gladiator. I don't know if Ridley Scott is right in the head anymore. Killer baboons? Awful soundtrack. Ridiculous Denzel plotline. Too much CGI. Didn't seem cinematic at all.

It felt more like a Zack Snyder movie than a Ridley Scott movie! It was terrible!

If Gladiator 2 was even half as good as 300 (Zach's best movie) then we wouldn't be having this conversation. The only thing those two movies have in common is Peter Mensah.
