No. It's legit pointless lmao. His son and wife died at the beginning of the first movie, and idc about some idiot son in the second. It completely takes away the devestation from the first. I love the first movie and it should have stayed as a standalone. I haven't even watched the trailer for the second and I know it sucsk lol
