With the exception of Obi-Wan Kenobi they've not talked any Star Wars since The Last Jedi.

It is just like our Doctor Who stories isn’t it, Juan. Sure we borrow characters but we put our own spin on them to make them our own whilst simultaneously creating our OWN characters.
Celia Strawberry didn't just come from nowhere Bobby?!?
And wait until they meet the Whirlygrig!
It's not easy coming up with all this stuff

It takes a huge talent to come up with characters like Celia Strawberry and I bet that Russell is really annoyed that he didn’t think of her first.
Doctor Who fans will not know what hit them when we give them The Whirlygirg. You do realise though that Titan Comics and Big Flourish will be fighting each other to be the first to offer us a big sum to use them in their Doctor Who media. In fact I bet that Russell offers us some of that lovely Disney money!

I couldn't touch the Disney money Bobby, you can have it.
But as long as we keep the rights to the Whirlygrig it doesn't just have to be stuck in the BBC/Disney fantasies. It could start creeping out into, let's say Marvel at first and then into, all sorts of other fictions. A sort of thought virus that permeates the realities which keep us all sane or something.
It can go in books, radios plays, songs, movies, websites, thoughts - it can even find itself dripping off of the innocent words spoken by others by those with the means to hear it
A sort of deafening silence that can't be hidden from, a thrashing angry malevolence that can embody any form and cannot be destroyed. An always hungry, never remorseful mechanism that ploughs through realities and makes them its own by sheer will and spite. The inevitable outcome of which is a turgid void of absolute nothing with no one to perceive it, let alone imagine it. The Nihilist's dream if they had absolutely no imagination.
But we'll water it down for the kiddies to like Bobby

Ok but let’s not water it down TOO much. The Whirlygirg needs to be a force to reckon with.
We could perhaps just hint that it’s The Whirlygirg which REALLY keeps me drinking. Also when there’s something good about to happen in your life and it falls through and you just can’t pinpoint why……that is The Whirlygirg at work.

The Plinkett character is/was good but rarity might be a saving grace for a character so well loved Warren
When those videos were originally made YouTube had a ten or fifteen minute limit on upload lengths and so them being broken into many parts was a labour of love compared to people 'reacting' or whatever it is they do these days to shill in some monies.
Some people still have the craft but in a world of Tiktok and new content every day the quaity across the board has been in decline for a long time

Yup Kirk, watched that over a week ago and think maybe everyone is dogpiling a little early with this Acolyte show.
It will be crap, there are plenty of things to scoff at in the trailer (Jedis all lighting up their sabres in a single file bottleneck) and the Harvey Weinstein personal assistant with no directorial experience running the show of her own imagination about lesbians in space is highly questionable and clearly has the deets on some people
But all of those folk are going to watch it, complain about it and make their pennies from whichever platforms they use to cater to an audience who already knows what the outcome is.
I've only recently heard about Andor being OK because people like this clogged up the hype by saying it would be crap. I understood their motivations and it fed into me thinking the same because of everything which came before it but that's not criticism, that's activism and I'd rather people cleanly disliked what they have seen.
Speculate, scoff and have fun beforehand - for sure, but this is getting on the heavy-handed end now where it is as bad as those making crap and then hating on their audiences for not liking it.
We have a wealth of human history and stories already written, filmed or sung. Stop going to the places where they don't want any artistic progress and actively hate those paying the fare at the door which pays their rent.
Where are all these same folk with their beloved Marvel Comic adaptations in the new cartoon?
We're about to hit episode 4, it's at 9.0 on IMDb, 98%/92% on Rotten Tomatoes, 8.2/7.5 on Metacritic as it stands. Everyone was harping on about Beau De Mayo being fired and someone's arse being flat a week before the premier but radio silence since then.
Is it possible they like it?

I hadn't Kirk, no
Now I have, and I'm glad that I didn't watch Ahsoka past the second episode
Doesn't seem like I missed much.
Well, apart from screwing up Rebels, The Clone Wars and Heir to the Empire all in one go
That was funny though, even without context. Thanks!

I’m glad that there are tons of racially diverse and sexually diverse characters on both Star Trek and Star Wars now ,I’m glad they aren’t jamming them down are throats all at once.

I just can't get enough
What I'd really like to see though is a planet full of midget/dwarf like humans who put on Wookie outfits and make out in big orgies that cover their entire planet when an Ewok accidently walks in and gets molested as a unwilling participant by the entire population of said planet who record it and send it all over the HoloNet as an initiation prank.
The Ewok gets sent to rape counselling therapy on Coruscant by way of compensation but a slightly older Jar Jar is the councillor and it seems has gotten himself a stutter and occasional burst of hysterical laughter apropos of nothing which sends the Ewok into a coma stupor that Jar Jar thinks can be fixed by gender reassignment.
Needless to say the Ewok wakes up, isn't pleased with what happened without their consent and take on the New Republic legally. Sadly though a new Sith Lord called Humzar Runnah
is the senate
and declares the Ewok to be a spiteful hate speaker and orders it to its own suicide.
To two sides of the galactic senate fight over what gender the Ewok was upon its peaceful passing and a new war breaks out which destroys the galaxy.
Only a bigot would stop that from being made
Are you a bigot?
