The tanning bed scene always bugged me.
Death has to work within the laws of physics and nature. It can't make things perform at a level outside the manufacturer's limitations.
If I'm driving a golf-cart,
Death
cannot make my golf-cart drive 10000 miles an hour, because the golf-cart engine is not capable of performing at that level.
Likewise, for tanning beds to get up to 400 degrees, the manufacturer would've had to build them to operate at that temperature, which makes little sense, as there's no situation that would be useable. An oven, I understand.
