Regarding the first poll where is your evidence? How many innocent men do you claim are in prison?
Regarding the second poll. LOL. It can't be both. Unless you are claiming [cite sources] that the numbers are precisely equal then one HAS TO BE higher than the other.
Regarding the 3rd poll now you REALLY need to cite sources because despite media hype all the statistics seem to say otherwise.

I'm sure the truth lies somewhere in between, except for the third poll. More whites are shot, but the probability of being shot is higher for black men.

It would be interesting to know the logic behind your statement. are you basing it on population disparity? Since more blacks are engaged in criminal activity and thus there are more encounters between blacks and cops I would think that that would more than offset such a disparity.

I'm basing it on pure statistics. Per population density, black men are more likely to be shot. That's just a non-partisan, unbiased statement of fact. I'm not saying that it's inherently unjust, or somehow evidence of a racist society or police force. As with most things, this is a complex issue.
Why black men are more likely to get shot is a whole other question that requires a much more indepth discussion.

You are right that it is complex, I just can't visualize the equation. If there are more encounters between police and blacks and yet fewer blacks get shot than whites one would thing the probability would got the other way.

Then you need to adjust your question. If the question was framed as black and white suspects, then you'd get a different answer…and the resulting discussion would be simplified. The police are much more hesitant to shoot a black suspect for fear of the political and social ****storm that follows.

This demonstrates the difference between what people believe and what they actually know. People say they 'know' a lot of things that they don't but believe that they do. Take your 'A' answer for instance. A quick google of basic statistics could have given you the correct answer [All Bs] but instead you went with what you 'know'.
