The US is nowhere near a bastion of freedom in today's World. It's lagging far behind the rest of the developed World. Only delusional people believe the US is the "land of the free". Only people who think the right to have assault rifles is the only freedom that matters. In terms of civil rights and personal freedom, other countries are far ahead.

If you don't hold those perceptions, you would have no problem admitting the fact that the US is not even close to being the most free country on Earth. Several countries are far ahead on that front. Your constant denial proves my point.

Except that is is. And people know it. That is why more people are trying to get into the U.S. than any other country on earth. The laws prove it. Charts can be faked or skewed but the not the laws. Simply put we guarentee under law more freedoms than any other nation on earth. Period.
