Well it sounds like his lawyer is pursuing other avenues. I can't imagine why the cops did what they did. Perhaps it was racial.

That sounds like a logical answer to me. Why would they harass the man over that? And he's a Vietnam vet. I really hope those assholes are prosecuted.
