Thanks Tom but the truth is most Hispanics don't find "beaner" offensive.
It's a very weak racial slur much like "honky" is to white people.
"Sp!c" would be closer to something like the n-word. But if someone goes that far to call you those words it just proves they lost their composure and you won.
In fact we embrace the fact that we love beans. Hell everyone loves beans!

She picked cotton, she picked, uh, all kinds of vegetables, probably fruits too. She migrated around, umm, 'tween here and also way up north to Minnesota, Michigan.
