Investigations by the Democrats are a de facto Inquisition with a foregone conclusion.
Investigations by Republicans drag on until the public tires of them and they simply fade out.

Congress is incapable of doing a better job.
Congressional Republicans who voted against a Democrat-led investigation did so because it will be a waste of time and money. Simple as that.
Dems would rather sit on their asses and bitch and moan about those riots than get busy trying to fix the disastrous border policy, energy policy, etc. -

A waste of time and money were all of the republican Benghazi investigations which all found no wrongdoing. I do agree with you that the FBI has a role in arresting the conservatives that started the riots, but the cause of the riots was not a policing issue, it is a societal issue. If we have a societal element that poses a threat to our democracy, which is what we saw that we do on January 6th, it is exactly the elected government's job to stop it. Preserving a stable society is the whole reason we have governments in the first place. Anyone standing in the way of that is a terrorist and a traitor, simple as that.

Benghazi was made worse by Obama and Clinton's inaction and everyone knows it. It is a well known fact that Stevens had been asking Clinton's state department for beefed up security for quite some time beforehand.
We don't have a sizable enough societal element that poses a serious threat to our democracy. That narrative won't fly, but keep repeating it as a way to distract from the horrible policies being pushed by Biden and his handlers. It's criminal the way they're destroying all the positive changes Trump made.
It was a bunch of nutter extremists on the left and the right that rioted on 1/6. The FBI is doing a good job of investigating and putting those idiots in prison. Liberals in Congress "investigating" will just end up in their typical grandstanding and anti-Trump speech making and you know it. It shouldn't happen and I hope it doesn't. They have much more important business to work on. Don't get me started on a list. -

It is a well known fact that the Benghazi raid was not predictable and could have happened under any president. And they do happen under many presidents, no matter the party. The difference is only republicans have the lack of decency to politicize it.

We have a growing societal element that poses a great threat to our democracy. There are people in this country to this day that still believe the election was stolen, despite even republican judges finding these allegations false. When we are dealing with that level of stupidity, you can't rule anything out. We saw what they are capable of on January 6th.

I do agree with you about the FBI doing a good job of investigating the riots. We know they are doing a good job because came out and said there is no evidence that left wing groups had any involvement. It was all right wingers.
