Why do news networks cut away from President Trump mid-speech

Because they donβt want people to know.
Itβs like burning books. They donβt want the people to be aware of that information.
TMZ airs celebrities speaking nonsense all the time. Theyβre not cut away from for βmisinformation.β

Yes that, too.
What theyβre alleging might be bs. Maybe itβs misinformation. But assuming thatβs the case, cutting away from the office of the President saying this is like the twin towers being hit and cnn cutting away. Theyβre not covering a very major story.

Itβs not even βmisinformation.β Itβs a accusation. Itβs a legal case. That in itself Is a story.
βMisinformationβ is if there was a shooting in Georgia, but the media reports it was in Canada.
Trump is shining for voter fraud, so thatβs the story, not that there was voter fraud, but that Trump is
Suing for voter fraud.
If this is misinformation, then every #MeToo accusation was misinformation.
Like I said, they do not want people to know what Trump suspects.

β 5 years ago(November 14, 2020 01:27 PM)You continue to be an imbecile . Misinformation and allegation are not mutually exclusive. If a random woman falsely accuses you of rape in Mizzou while you were hanging out in Indiana at the time she claims it happens and tells Fox news that is both an accusation and disinformation. There is overlap between the two , but you canβt formulate arguments without conjuring up false dichotomies because you suck at critical thinking.

β 5 years ago(November 11, 2020 10:10 PM)Because it undermines a U.S election by making baseless accusations. The media is cutting away from it to protect themselves legally not because they have some collective agenda against Trump. Even a few of his supporting stations cut away.

The story is that the media has to cut away from the president because he has no regard for the damage his lies are causing to the country. Get upset at Trump, not the media for doing the right thing.

β¦.
So you donβt think itβs a story if the sitting President makes allegations, particularly those that are patently outrageous?
Ridiculous. What exactly are you afraid of if they actually show the news? Trump lost the election. The fact that he says otherwise IS a story.

That is exactly the story. The president is lying to the public and his lies have already caused a significant portion of the population to believe the election is stolen. The media understands how damaging this is to the country so they choose not to be used by him to further spread his lies. The 4th estate's job is to inform the public and hold government to account, what Trump is doing is deliberately misinforming.

Perhaps they're trying to apply the same concept for discouraging dogs from behaving in undesirable ways. Put the dog in its crate and ignore it. For Trump, not having an audience is like a dog being ignored by it's owner. The cold isolation might drive Trump bonkers

β 5 years ago(November 14, 2020 04:00 AM)Using Vlad and PEβs logic we should start spreading stories that they both like to kidnap and molest 13 year old girls. Even though itβs a baseless accusation with no evidence to back it up, Iβm sure they wonβt have any issues with it airing on the news , since itβs a , βstory!β

Youβre a real ****. Given what I know about you, you probably enjoy doing that. With PE, no less.
No, using my logic, I would have had to say that in order for your to broadcast it, which I did not do nor would I.

β 5 years ago(November 14, 2020 01:22 PM)How am I a **** for using your own nonsensical β reasoningβ against you in a way that helps you realize the flaw in your arguments? Disinformation is dangerous for the very reason youβre calling me a **** right now. But you support disinformation when it entertains you under the guise of β free speech!β
Disinformation is implicitly dangerous and I effectively made my point by pissing you off.
