Are you okay?

Lol, for me generally any band that decides to have a grizzly bear instead of a human as their lead vocalist makes me laugh the whole time they are singing. They do kick ass on instruments though.

So I listened to the Motorpsycho Tower album on my drive home from work yesterday and some on my way in today (still not done - those are some long songs!). The guitar work is quite good. Vocally (at least so far), it's not bad, but not exactly in line with my preferences in that area. I like a bit more structured and smooth flowing lyrics. The song The Tower and ASDF (or something like that) were the closest I've heard so far to what I enjoy in that respect. They vaguely remind me of King Crimson.

They're their own thing. If you give them a chance, or easier/gentler albums, like Here Be Monsters, you'll probably get write into them. I just prefer them as heavy psyche as I can get them. Nobody sounds like them. And nobody writes riffs like them. Nobody is as active bringing out albums as they are.
You either get them or you don't.
The only band I've ever seen live where I was the only female. Also the only band who took away my legs live.
I was against the stage, and after, stumbled as the bass made me legless for a little while.

You get used to their vocals. Their riffage is ****ing subliiiiiime.

I've listened to their music in all kinds of states. And as someone who pots around with music production, I reaaalllyyyy appreciate them on that level too. Ship of Fools (last one of The Tower") has suuuuuch a dark psychedelic part to it. Almost evil sounding.
Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.
