Where did the idea of more than 2 genders come from? How do you go from one day believing there are 2 genders, to passionately believing there are 40? That kind of dramatic shift in a belief system is a sign of a mental illness.

Yeah, I guess there is a scientific approach which suggests that there no more than two gender. However, I don't feel the need to argue with people who believe they weren't born in the body and don't think they are the right gender. There are only two sexes, I agree with you. But I think calling them "idiots" is counterproductive. And "gender" is a little more difficult to define. Think of it as a gender role. There may be more than two gender roles.
The problem is, we could look at genderfuck disciples as extreme and not worth even debating. But the establishment has climbed on board with this idea of 50 genders. That's especially true in academia. But even mainstream institutions like Facebook now list dozens of genders. And I've even received official state forms which list male, female, and "other" as options.
So the vast majority of the populations laugh at this. But government and business is taking it seriously.
So if we oppose this destruction of the male/female dichotomy, which I do, dismissing these folks as "idiots" is not the right approach.
Sure, there are people who are half way between the polar opposites of male and female. But the truth here is that even these intersexed individuals are either more male or more female. There is no third alien gender which I've ever stumbled upon.
Can someone who advocates 50 genders please tell me if there is one gender which is not on the male/female scale? Serious question.

I never knew that people were claiming there are more than two genders. Always thought they were claiming that genders aren't set in stone, that a person can be more than one or be the one they weren't assigned at birth or whenever the **** the gyno saw their peep or lack of peep in the ultrasound… all of which I can agree with to an extent.
But yeah, if that's an actual line of thought that people have, then they're pretty ****ing stupid. There's no magical third gender. No one gets to be a wmaherl.
