It might be awhile. The Dems dug in their heels about all their special interest add-ons then went home when they couldn't get them. Brats.

Trump wanted billions in the stimulus bill for a new FBI building, and the republicans wanted money for the Pentagon's military toys. Are they pieces of **** too? Those things have nothing to do with COVID or the economy.
Trump only wants money for the FBI building because it would be on the same street as his hotel. He doesn't want another hotel being built there, because his hotel would have competition. Even the republicans didn't support money for the FBI building being in that bill.

The democrats passed a bill in May. The republicans did nothing for months.
The House was willing to delay the August recess until a bill was passed, but the Senate adjourned so they could go on their recess.
The republicans' HEALS Act didn't even include an eviction moratorium. It does include rental assistance, but it's much less than the democrats had in their bill. Trump's executive order on evictions doesn't actually extend the moratorium.

Both sides can play that game, and do. Do yourself a favor and get ready for 4 more years.
Meanwhile, rest up. It's going to be a long winter for you.
