and I'm sorry that it seems heartless, but I really do feel as though this is the best course of action on how to deal with those large groups of protesters who won't go home and allow the local law enforcement and other civil rights leaders discuss the politics and legal side of the issue.
They may possibly be spreading covid 19 when they form large groups like that. Also, if they paid attention to the changes the governors and mayors have done to ensure that other unarmed suspects aren't subject to excessive force which state governors and mayors have made the necessary changes to the way their law enforcement handle people who are resisting arrests!
Therefore,
I think all the governors and mayors of the states where these protests are taking place should immediately break up the protesting! They're destroying public property again! Issue a warning or something. Give them a chance to comply first. Then, if you gotta use tear gas when the protesters don't comply, then do so. It's just tear gas anyway.
And while we are on the subject of police and national guard handling protesters, way back during the civil rights movement of the 60s…police brigades used fire hoses on protesters.
So, would the protesters rather have high pressured water sprayed on them or tear gas? -

Well I wasn't talking about the rioters, but yes tear gas is an effective way of breaking up
a riot.
But there is no need to break up a
peaceful demonstration.
Unfortunately way too many of the demonstrations turned
violent
. The immediate results were
death and destruction,
mostly in black neighborhoods. 24 people were killed in Chicago alone over the weekend. This is sad and tragic.
The long term result will be businesses moving away from those neighborhoods and refusing to return. This will bring more hardships to these areas.

No it's time to break up all of the protests now and I just told you why. It's become a public health issue. There is still covid 19. I also feel like their protests have served its purpose. If the protesters were sane people, they'd see that they have already made a difference.
So now if they can't use common sense to stop their bullshit large group protesting and rallies, then government has every right to shut it down!
Tear gas or the firehose. And that's that. -

demonstrations. Freedom of speech is one of the best things we have here in America. And no, the government
never
has the right to suppress it.
And I'm also not in total accord with State Governments imposing these draconian and repressive lock downs.

Well I am in favor of breaking up peaceful protesting that has gone on for longer than its intended purpose. Their chanting no justice, no peace has been accomplished when the governors and the mayors of the cities stopped allowing members of their police force to use excessive force techniques as a way to murder people, and the police officers responsible were investigated and given a murder charge.

I'm not in favor of breaking up the demonstrations. However, I do agree with you. I don't know why they're still demonstrating. The cop is in custody charged with second degree murder. What more do they want to happen at this point in time?

I don't give a damn about you wanting to encourage a bunch of lunatic liberals to spread covid 19 when they form large groups and are still destroying public and private property after the fact! The situation about George Floyd is resolved. The crazy protesters burned down buildings, forced law enforment to bow to them, they murdered police officers and police officers murder some of the protesters too, people looted and rioted, they did line-dances in the street with member of law enforcement, they got on tv and said their opinion, every media news outlet documented it all, George Floyd was laid to rest. The police officers involved in hia murder were all given aomw sort of murder charges.
You're a lunatic as well if you are still siding with these protesters! Therfore, your input is to be ignires.
Time to get the firehoses and tear gas on these large group of protesters. -
