Non-grunge Bands like RHCP, Faith No More-Mr.Bungle help to plant the seeds that created a movement that killed grunge a few years later..
Korn was influenced by them and lead the charge.

Well yea after they got big they were.
I liked

And
Blood, Sugar,Sex,Magic
Albums.
I just think they helped pioneer the funk metal sound and along with Rage against the machine though they were obviously less political.
