George Floyd was a drug addict and a criminal. Hardly the type of guy a movement would typically be based on. This is irrelevant to your op yet I post it anyways.

Because he was a bad person who doesn’t deserve to be honored. The incident does need attention but I’m not going to honor George Floyd, a would-be infant murderer.

His death is in the past. The cop was arrested and found guilty. What specifically is the goal behind the blm movement? Defund the police? Stupid and dangerous idea that would lead to the streets being patrolled by armed men with guns, likely armed men like George Floyd. Not gonna happen.
