I see my doctor next week. I'll have to ask him for a prescription. (I actually want to see his reaction more than I want an Rx!)
I'm already taking thymoquinone which also boosts the immune system. It's available over the counter.

I might believe both…
The BBC report that trials are being carried out in the UK to see if it does prevent infection.

It's a drug that's been used
for 50 years.
If it were a way to commit a slow suicide, it would be yanked from the market.

It apparently has more bad side effects than evidence of benefit. Why even bother?
It's been around for about sixty years and has few side effects. Big Pharma wants you to believe otherwise.

— 5 years ago(May 20, 2020 11:54 PM)I don’t believe big pharmaceutical is one homogeneous boogie man. If hydroxychloroquine proved to be effective in treating or preventing COVID-19 why would they want to suppress it’s use trying to manufacture a vaccine that are largely hit or miss?
There’s over 100 vaccines either in clinical or preclinical trials now. There’s no guarantee that any of them will prove effective or reach distribution. It’s wouldn’t be logical to hide an effective treatment, effectively hurting the economy with issues that will last a decade just to make money on the back end.

If hydroxychloroquine proved to be effective in treating or preventing COVID-19 why would they want to suppress it’s use …
Because they can't make any money on it. They hide effective treatments routinely.

— 5 years ago(May 21, 2020 10:59 AM)You know what’s less profitable than a drug they won’t make money of it? Allowing the economy to shut down for months and sustain damage that will last a decade….
You see why this theory doesn’t really make sense?

— 5 years ago(May 21, 2020 02:34 AM)I've always been a stickler for side effects of medicine, but I'm on some now and wasn't growing up so much. My mom died from a medication.. still, coronavirus? I don't know enough to say. My mask seems to be working, though, it didn't work in the bathroom stall, quite. I wonder if I wear it wrong.
