Xenophobic? Yet another buzzword? Is that really ALL you got? I'm underwhelmed. You are aware that I have an entirely different criteria for what constitutes an 'American' correct?
We are exceptional. We are currently determining citizenship that same way as everyone else. This is wrong. We should be gauging people commitment to the principles of our constitution. I fully believe there are people born in this nation, citizens on paper but on paper only as they have no commitment to American principles. I also believe there have been true Americans even before the nation was founded. People who believe in what we consider the American Ideal.
