by being a music nerd obsessed with music basically and spending way too much time on the internet. i have days when i feel like i'm the internet's busiest music nerd with a vagina..
(if u dont get the reference, the Youtuber and famous album reviewer Anthony Fantano "the needle drop" calls himself the "internet's busiest music nerd"… )
like, i'm in musicbook, Facebook's music fan and nerd community, and get a lot of recs from many people all the time. thats how i spent most of my time on social media.
i'm also a regular user of big free streaming sites such as Bandcamp, Soundcloud, and of course Youtube and listen to all my music on these platforms for free. this particular band here i found on YT, and the bandname piqued my interest bc of WWI history stuff, so i checked them out today and i really liked it. simple as that.
tbh i could come here every hour and post some music i'm currently enjoying listening to, but i'm not a spammer, so i keep it to the really good stuff and just come here like once a day usually to post it.
i'm also a user on Rateyourmusic.com, which is basically Imdb for music albums, to keep track of everything i've heard by rating the albums i've heard.
i'm doing this for like 4 years now, with breaks whenever i feel like i'm burned out, but i get never tired of finding new music. it's like an addiction and music is my heroin.
