They don't need evidence. Could you listen to the video? How can you ignore the video and go straight to the debate with me without taken into consideration new facts?
What a stupid thing to say.
I knew you would say that. And you did discredit everything he said which was the truth. C'mon Yermom, you can do better than this. It just seems like you're squirming. -

I'm aware that they don't need evidence. I know this, I have always known this. Impeachment is a political process, not a legal one, and I never mentioned otherwise. I don't need a video to tell me what I already know.
And you did discredit everything he said
No I didn't. But don't be an asshole and accuse me of being a racist.

Then the point is why was Donald Trump so angry about being impeached. Why are you so angry? Lol -
Yermom_Is_God — 6 years ago(December 26, 2019 05:08 PM)
Because he didn't do anything wrong and this is all a partisan circus. Them being able to impeach him doesn't change that fact.

'Because he didn't do anything wrong'
Sweet Ivanka's Tits, you have gone and brainwashed yourself. Even most Republicans agree that using Presidential influence and withholding foreign assistance, in order to get another country to launch an investigation to discredit your domestic political rivals, is dead wrong.
Most just argue though that though it is wrong, it is not worthy of impeachment. -
Yermom_Is_God — 6 years ago(December 26, 2019 05:46 PM)
It depends, though. If he was trying to root out corruption and it was about the 2016 election there's nothing wrong with that. You dipshit leftists have it set up that because it was the super corrupt Biden family they're not allowed to be investigated for anything ever otherwise you'll say it's strictly for political gain. So convenient for you.
Funny thing is there is actual video evidence of Biden doing exactly what you're accusing Trump of doing.

And yet, we're all so proud that he

- Stared directly into the sun during a solar eclipse without protective glasses.

- Served McDonald's to the Clemson football team.

- The hurricane sharpie fiasco.

- Suggested the US nuke hurricanes to stop them from hitting America.
- Inquired about the cost of installing a moat filled with snakes and alliators along the southern boarder.

- Suggested shooting migrants in the legs to slow them down.
- Says he is building a boarder wall in Colorado.

- Says you need an ID to buy groceries.
- Says windmill noise causes cancer.

- Tweets doctored image of himself awarding medal to dog.

- Randomly and bizarrely tweets, "A Very Stable Genius!" Thank you." Thanking and quoting himself.

- Says China respects his, "very, very large brain."

- Sends, "don't be a tough guy" letter to the President of Turkey and then brags about it to everyone.
- We learned that Trump starts his day at 11:00am.

- Said the US should rake it's forests like Finland to prevent forest fires. Finland doesn't rake it's forests.

- Wonders aloud why we didn't celebrate the women's suffrage centennial sooner. Takes credit for getting it done.

Quite a few of those things are fake news, a few of those things aren't even bad, and the rest of the are just "so what?" None of that is impeachable, just goofy. Not sure what your point is.

You may not need evidence to impeach, but if you care at all about preserving the integrity of the political system, then you do. When the United States Congress has as much concern for due process as an angry lynch mob, we've got a problem.

@Yermom Is God
We were debating about this. Or I was. Anyway, here is the report. This should be right up your conservative alley..
National debt disappears as 2020 campaign issue – but it keeps growing
Almost a decade after out-of-control spending and borrowing fueled the Tea Party revolution in a historic midterm election, no major presidential candidates from either party seem interested in the national debt that now stands at more than $23 trillion, leaving every American citizen owing almost $70,000.
Meanwhile, the federal deficit—or the annual budget shortfall—is more than $1 trillion.
“Democrats don’t care about budget deficits and the national debt, and it’s an incredibly frightening problem,” said Jason Pye, vice president for legislative affairs at FreedomWorks, a major player in rallying the Tea Party movement of the 2010 election. “The president has said it’s a fifth-year priority, but that’s assuming he’s re-elected. He’s already signed two budgets that increase discretionary spending. Republicans have abandoned any pretense of fiscal responsibility. Not being the Democrats is not good enough.”

Both parties have ignored the national debt for decades. It began to skyrocket under Reagan and has only increased its acceleration since. Republicans used to make more of a deal about it, but when George W. Bush came to office and was a massive spender, they began to ignore it. Dick Cheney famously said "Deficits don't matter."

I like how you conveniently chose not to mention Obama's insane spending.

I didn't ignore Obama intentionally, but the truth is the increase in the national debt under Obama was mostly due to the spending he inherited from Bush. Obama's deficits never approached Bush's heights, and Obama actually decreased the deficit dramatically, getting the trend back on the right track. Bush on the other hand was handed a surplus by Clinton and turned it into massive deficits. Clinton was the last president who managed to balance the budget. Trump has thus far increased the deficit each year of his presidency, despite running on a promise to balance the budget.
