    When Bush was in power, Democrats LOVED him. Then when Obama was in power, Republicans LOVED him.
    Which is it? I think people have the same beliefs, but don't want to be associated with "the others". It also seems no party has any principles.

            No one had heard of Julian Assange when Bush was president. He and Wikileaks gained prominence in 2010, during Obama's first term. Many liberals actually did support him at the time and conservatives opposed him. It wasn't until the last election that the sides shifted some, when Assange became a political weapon used by the Trump Campaign and Russia to get Trump elected. Personally, I never cared for Assange. He is an irresponsible douchebag.

              My point is parties flip-flop not because of ideology or truth, but because of some plastic figure.
