They rushed through an impeachment acting as if it was the end of the world and Trump had to be removed from office, but now they won't even send the impeachment articles to the Senate to let them vote on it. So I guess it wasn't that urgent after all. What was the whole point of this again? What a farce.

At some point during Trumps presidency, I stopped taking it seriously and now I watch the whole ordeal play out like I am watching a soap opera. I don't even have a favorite character anymore.

The dems may never release the articles. It looks better for them if Trump is never acquitted. Declining poll numbers or Supreme Court intervention may be the only reasons they would pass them on.

They need to blackmail a bunch of corrupt senators first to get the guaranteed result they want.

They rushed the impeachment, but it was probably a strategic decision. They could have built a stronger case for impeachment if they waited for more testimony from actual White House officials, like John Bolton, but they know from the Clinton impeachment that the longer these things go on, the more the public begins to lose interest and begins to turn on the whole process. Delaying it now doesn't mean they don't believe Trump committed offenses that warrant his removal, it just means they don't want it to die in the Senate while the Republicans have stated they would never give it a fair trial. With more time and more evidence to come out, they may begin to change their tune and give it a more serious consideration. It was very smart to wait.

They want to drag it out as long as possible at this point to smear his name and leave it out there that he has been impeached while knowing perfectly well he will be vindicated in the Senate.
It's simply deplorable the lengths these evil democrats will go to attempt to ruin **** for their betters.
                  It's pretty treasonous.
