Since our password is "password", why were these set????
Privacy:
Disallow other users to see your profile
Only allow friends to private message you
With a password everyone knows, there's no point in not leaving everything wide open! No point in friends or blocks either.
I have a theory that this is a master sock, created by

to keep the total number of socks down to a manageable level.

I believe there's a team of admins that monitor this supersock. The password only changes when there's no one to keep an eye on it.
I couldn't delete the duplicate.
That's because there are restrictions on this account that don't affect those monitors. They weren't there in the beginning.

The password cannot be changed.
The profile can't even be saved unless you have the admin privileges. They can change it when they have to. You'll eventually find that "password" doesn't work temporarily.
