I think the evidence seems to be pointing towards it being something to do with the renovations MMC2.
BTW, there were NO acts of vandalism against any Mosques. Suspicious, no?
I've read several cases of Mosques being targeted, often with worshippers still inside. So that just isn't true.
There have cases in recent weeks in France.

The investigation was just started on April 15, and no findings have been released.
Perhaps it did have something to do with the renovations, but at this point, that's only an opinion. And even if it had to do with the renovations, whose to say it wasn't
Muslim Terrorist sabotage
of those renovations? Do we know if there were any Muslim workers?
And as to your first article, that was a report of ONE case of vandalism against a Mosque. Compare that to
over 1,000 cases of vandalism against Churches in France in 2018 alone.
And the NZ shootings, though terrible, have nothing to do with this case. Bad behavior does
not
justify other bad behavior.
And the second article lists a mere 11 cases of
actual
vandalism. That is a number which pales in comparison to the over 1,000 cases in France in 2018.
And it is nothing compared to the
40 pages of Muslim Terrorists' murders of innocent people since 1979 in this Wikipedia article:
