Not really, but some of the actions by some are fascistic. Doesn't make them fascists. I'm for gun right, but that does not make me a right winger lol.
I've gone back and forth on the morals of punching Nazis, vandalizing immoral institutions, etc… and on whether it's effective. It's kind of like that movie Do the Right Thing. The ending is a bit ambiguous on the subject of violence. Like where do you draw the line? If a group of people are actively trying to take away your rights, like the way a lot of the right is against gay marriage being legal, is it defense in an indirect way? I don't know. Currently, I am only for violence in strict defense situations like what Jello said. -

Yes, their
actions
are fascistic. That's what I meant.
I disagree. Violence is NEVER okay or effective. It's always counter productive.
Non violence always wins in the end. The two best examples are Gandhi and M.L. King.
And I was very disappointed at the end of Do The Right Thing. They threw a garbage can through the pizza parlor window. And the owner of the pizza parlor was a good guy.
And who exactly is trying to take away someone's rights? I must have missed that.
Speaking of which, do you approve of Rutgers canceling a speaker because the students didn't want her to speak there? The irony is that one of the things she was going to address is freedom of speech. The Leftists on college campus are the ones who are trying to take away people's rights, the right to Free Speech.
And the same thing has been done at USC, UCLA and lots of other Universities.

Violence beat the Axis powers in WW2. Absolutism is naive.
None of the characters were totally good or bad. Remember his racist tendencies. Like I said, the movie is ambiguous. Even what Lee's character (forgot his name) does kind of takes from both sides. HE partakes in the vandalism, but is still there for the guy in the end.
I am saying a lot of right wing policies aim to oppress and limit rights such as gay marriage and choices over one's body. But again, I am not saying yeah, let's go use violence on them. I'm posing a question, not picking a side.
Freedom of speech doesn't mean a place needs to offer you a platform. The students are the ones who pay to go there. I see no issue here. I don't think we should give certain types platforms. Doesn't mean I don't support their right to say what they want. -

Okay come on, man! You know I wasn't talking about war. Of course violence is necessary in war. Duh! I was talking about how people conduct themselves in public in peacetime. Jesus, so I have to spell everything out in minute detail?
And where is gay marriage limited? It's limited in states where the people voted to limit it. That is their right. If gays don't like that, they're free to work to change the law, or move to another state.
And where is abortion limited? Ever since Row v Wade, it's been legal in all 50 states.
And Freedom of Speech means that if you're invited to speak at a campus, as in the Rutgers case, you should be allowed to speak. Your event should not be canceled when some anti free speech bullies intimidate the college administrators with the threat of violence.

I googled it, and you are technically correct. I was using the generic view of Fascists. Actually the Antifa group resembles Nazis more than anything.

Wrong again lol. You can dislike the group without attaching erroneous comparisons. Nazis were right wing. They used the word socialism because it was popular at the time. It's like the alt right calling what they do punk rock even though they are far from it.

That particular group throws labels around like they are going out of fashion. That particular group calls themselves Antifa. That particular group act like Nazis. That particular group calls everyone who is not them Nazis. That particular group thinks we should all be violent towards Nazis. That particular group is asking for us to eradicate them.
The fact that they are all stupid and those who would defend them are cowards does not take away the fact that they are fascist ****s who hide being a civility that they would tear apart if given half a chance.
Just like the Nazis of 1930's Germany

No, I'm right. The comparison is valid. It makes no difference whether a group is Left or Right. Antifa and the Nazis use the same tactics, so they're basically the same.

That's like saying because you eat, sleep and **** and so does every paedophile in the world that you are a paedophile no?
If it calls itself Antifa it's a Nazi in denial.
If it defend Antifa it's a coward who lets the Nazi seize power.
