He and Kav disagree on whether it's consitutional to detain immigrants for any crime with bail, even petty ones. He is siding with the liberal justices.
A true libertarian more than a conservative!
In April, Justice Gorsuch joined the court’s four liberal members in a 5-to-4 decision striking down a law that allowed the government to deport some immigrants who had committed serious crimes, saying it was unconstitutionally vague

— 7 years ago(October 12, 2018 02:18 AM)This is funny. Typically Trump would make an insulting comment about the Supreme Court for such a decision, but he didn't in this case, as his own appointee voted against his will. Ironic!

You misinterpreted his ruling. He only voted against it because of the actual verbiage of the Law. It is not specific enough and leaves too much open to interpretation.
That does not mean he is for illegals not being deported, criminal or othervise
The only poster who had his account banned 4 times without ever breaking any rules each of those times.
