If Trump is DUMB ENOUGH to do what Bolton, Haley and Netanyahu want him to do i.e., attack Iran, he'll be a one-term president. But maybe that's been the neocon plan all along: get the dope to attack Iran, watch his poll numbers drop and get one of their own (Pence or perhaps Haley herself) to run against Trump in 2020.
A war with Iran will not only unite Democrats, independents and libertarians into a broader anti-Trump/anti-war coalition, it will divide Trump's own camp between war-loving neocons (like yourself) and noninterventionist alt-right types who'll abandon the Trump train faster than you can say "No More Wars For Israel".
If Trump keeps the economy stable, continues to make peace with our adversaries and keeps us out of any new wars, he'll be reelected. If he follows the advice of Bolton, Haley and the Israelis - in the words of Molly Hatchet, he'll be "flirtin' with disaster". -

Here's what really happened. A little history for you, Doctor.
For years people have been concerned about Iran's potential to develop nuclear weapons. Eventually, they started a nuclear program, although they claimed it was for energy purposes. Not many believed it and some argued military action should be taken. Keep in mind, these are the same geniuses that said the same thing about Iraq. Obama tried a different solution, and along with great American hero, John Kerry, got Iran to give up its nuclear program and to allow international inspections to ensure they weren't still pursuing it. No nukes and no war. It was a big win for Obama, which is what made Trump so mad. Rather than put the best interests of the world first, Trump let his pettiness take control, which shouldn't surprise anyone, and he pulled out of the agreement. Now Iran fears the United States is on another path towards war with their country. The other day, the leader of Iran gave a speech suggesting that they want peace, but if the United States wants war, they will fight. Nothing controversial about it. Trump's reaction to Iran threatening to fight back if attacked, was to threaten to attack them. It's logic that only a moron would understand.
