McCain reportedly writes in his book that he planned to choose Joe Lieberman, then an independent senator from Connecticut, as his running mate, but advisers counseled him against it because of Lieberman’s past as a Democrat.
Always thought he should have picked Todd Palin instead

This sore loser could have built a time machine, gone back to the 1860s, kidnapped Abe Lincoln, forced him to be his running mate and STILL would have lost.
He is dying from a very aggressive form of brain cancer that affects his thoughts and actions and should do the honorable thing (which is totally not in his character) and retire.

If it's honorable to retire when you get brain cancer, then why didn't the honorable Ted Kennedy do it?

The only honorable Kennedies were killed.
