That wasn't a news conference. It was a blatant exercise inself-aggrandizement and whining. Behavior NOT befitting a true leader.

Yeah, he's dismantled them by boosting their credibility by giving them incredibly easy lies to factcheck like him winning more electoral college votes than anyone since Reagan, and by boosting their viewership by his constant deranged attacks on them.

When asked in the press conference, he said that he was referring to Republicans.
His electoral vote count is higher than both of George W. Bush's wins (271 and 286).
Bush Sr. went higher but Reagan was still in office at the time.
He said someone handed him this information and it may have been that his EC count was the highest since the days of Ronald Reagan.

He did explain when he was asked about it by a reporter in the same press conference.
He said, "I was talking about Republicans."
Of course, he was. Bill Clinton and Barack Obama got higher EC votes - who doesn't know that?
Trump did incredibly well for Republicans - the best in almost 30 years.

He was talking about the Republicans - I knew that as soon as he said it.
I also knew that "W" won by only 271 EC votes and 286 EC votes.
It's been almost 30 years (since the Reagan days) that any other Republican got more.
Why is this the end of the world for you people?

Now THAT is some impressive spin. Who fcking cares that "Reagan was still in office at the time"? When a person says they had the "highest electoral vote since Reagan", they're referring to the last ELECTION Reagan ran in.
In fact, Trump's electoral victory is one of the SMALLEST margins in American history. It ranks 46th out of 58 elections. -
