Surprised you haven't seen it already! It's actually based on a comic (or manga). A bit of a mystery, but also action.
That scene was supposed to mimic a video game, and I thought it was pretty interesting how they filmed it.

'Harsh Times' reminds me of a buddy in the army. Ranger, Special Forces, a Dutch kid from Oakland, CA. Married his high school Mexican sweetheart and then became a U.S. Marshall.
This is a great fncking country.

Don't lose that email addy, I wanna hear about how you and the family are doing.
And I might wanna buy some books too, ebooks are not pleasant to the hands (although I have developed a liking for audio books), I prefer bound paper.

                  Absolutely.
It's a sensory thing I guess. Man made paper, then ink, the printing press
It's like my Bible, I have an audio version but the print version doesn't need electricity, etc. It may weight a few pounds but it's a good book.

Saw it. Good flick. Try "I Saw the Devil". Bad ass Korean flick.

It is a hell of a film. I heard the same about 'I Saw The Devil'.
Oddly enough while I own a lot of great films but sometimes I just want background noise that's interesting but not too loud or violent while I work on computers.
Too bad The Goonies has not held up well for me over the years.
I think after my 10am appointment, I am going to put on some Scooby Doo. 🙂

Try Chaser. I liked it better than I Saw The Devil.

I believe repeat violent offenders should disappear from civil society altogether but I am not all for gung-ho violence.
The Scooby Doo gang never had to resort to violence. 🙂

The Man From Nowhere is a ripoff of Leon: The Professional.

"Leon" was my nick name in the army. Our unit motto was "Silent But Violent".

No, your brothers in arms were calling you "peon" and the motto "Silent But Violent" came about from your farting in the barracks.

My name on our door had "Leon" in the middle so it was kind of official. Some people did fart in the barracks. It's normal.
