The OP's thread title and followup statement are from dialog in a well known movie, I just can't place it.
It feels like it may have been from one of the Dirty Harry movies.
EDIT: I just searched it. It's attributed to Groucho Marx but I didn't find out whether it was from one of the movies (likely), his TV show, or something he said in an interview.
