Demons are real. Them making something happen in order to fool you into believing in such nonsense is what they do. They will making thing happen to get you to rely on 'magic' rather than God then they will pull the rug out from under you and suddenly the spells that 'worked' before won't and you'll be screwed.

You are God's creation. You can't give what isn't your to give. Especially if God is unwilling to give you up.
Magic isn't real. Everything God does works according to set scientific principles. Everything he created is bound by those principles. Everything even the demons. We may not understand all those principles. They may seem as magical to us as a helicopter would have to the Romans but they are science.
