Trust me when I say the Pope wishes it was "my call".
I would Show some leniency. God Won't be so accommodating.

If you agree with the pope's policies then you have lost your way as a Christian. Repent and return to the Lord.

Based on what is written, the pope is an apostate.
𝑅𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦? Based upon what passages, exactly?
In order to 'apostacize,' one would first have had to have believed and then subsequently abandoned it; one could probably fairly say of 𝑚𝑒 that I am an apostate (from Protestant Christianity), but Pope Francis isn't. He's pretty consistent in his original belief.
The term 𝑎𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑎 only occurs twice in the bible (Acts 21:21 and 2 Thessalonians 2:3), and in both cases refers to Marcionism; specifically to the Marcionite teaching that Christians have no business using Jewish scripture or following Jewish laws or observances; that belongs to Jews. You see, the proto-Catholics had culturally appropriated Judaism, or at least as much of it as they understood and were comfortable following (Jewish scripture and the Jewish god; the dietary laws, not so much). Marcionism disagreed. This upset the Catholics so much that pretty much the entire New Testament is an outgrowth of that conflict. Calling Marcionism 'heresy' was insufficient; at least two unique terms were coined for the offense that was Marcionism. One was 𝑎𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑠𝑖𝑎, or abandoning the faith or teaching (cf. 1 John 2:19), which kind of assumed, correctly or incorrectly, that one had been Catholic to begin with.
The other was 𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑐ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑡, which attacked the belief that Jesus was non-corporeal, only 𝑎𝑝𝑝𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 to be a human being born of woman (i.e. docetism). This was a criticism applicable to various sects of gnosticism more generally, and not exclusive to Marcionism. Modern Christians throw the term 𝑎𝑛𝑡𝑖𝑐ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑡 around, applying it to everything they don't like, without realizing it had only a very narrow meaning among the Johannine sectarians who coined it (1 John 4):
𝟐 By this you will know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that 𝐽𝑒𝑠𝑢𝑠 𝐶ℎ𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑡 ℎ𝑎𝑠 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑒 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑙𝑒𝑠ℎ is from God, 𝟑 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard that is coming, and now is already in the world.
I'm pretty sure that Pope Francis is not a Marcionite.

Of course the church wants us all to get married and be nice. I'll remain on the devil's altar, thank you very much.

I read. It's a step in the right direction. I couldn't help but laughed at many people having meltdown, saying, "HE ABANDONED GOD!" or "HE DENIED JESUS'S LOVE!" or something like that.
There's one thing these religious zealots didn't realize this after they keep saying "God is everything"….wouldn't that mean he's bisexual?

Truth hurts, doesn't it?
I came across this post on Facebook and this old dude in the comments section said the pope needs to be replaced before he leads more people down on the "wrong" (translated, different) path and I basically told him to accept it and move on because times are changing. I also told him he can't expect homosexuals to stay in the closet and pretend it's 1700s or 1940s or pre-2015 where it's acceptable to condemn them so it's done.
Oh, and gay priests and lesbian nuns exist, little info which I decided to withhold because I worry I would give him heart attack from being hit with the reality that conflicts with his twisted beliefs.
Sorry, not sorry. Hmph. flips hair and walks out of sight
Edit: Well,
someone
just proved my points in this thread.

You're amazing
I usually hate arguing with people online and won't really reply to anyone, but i'll leave a little comment. BUT if someone replies to me i just try to convince them that they should be scared because the socialist liberal agenda is in full force, we're going to make their kids gay atheists that will marry black men/women and move to California. -

Bad girl!!
Also, I'm going to say that to the next person who try to argue with me.
