What if Satan defeated God when god and Lucifer had their war in heaven

It may explain why the world is so ****ed up. Satan is still learning the ropes. He is not omniscient and omnipotent the way god was.
Although if god was so omnipotent, shouldn’t it have been impossible for satan to “win”? Unless god
wanted
him to win. Consider How we all go through phases in life where our personalities change in large ways. Maybe god had a period where he felt depressed and unworthy of his status. Maybe he got a little into masochism. Maybe he wanted to try out life on the wild side, free from all the petty and trite prayers cast in his name by his miserable and obnoxious creations. Maybe all of this is very temporary, and we are left with the substitute teacher Satan ****ing everything up.

I don’t really believe in either. I think they’re simplifications depicting states of being that humans of the time were readily able to understand as desirable or not desirable. What they describe are the way it will feel at the culmination of a life lived well (heaven) versus a life lived poorly (hell), for when you do die, the lasting impact your life had on others can no longer be changed by you. In such a way, your fate and the feelings your memory will evoke will indeed be eternally bad or good, for your offspring will take from you lessons about how you lived your life and carry that on into the future. The story of your life is what your heaven or your hell will end up being.

Riveting. Alternatively, the topic of who won is inconsequential. Good and Evil is ultimately a matter of perspective. Indulging in the pleasures of the flesh is only 'wrong' because that happens to fit the agenda of the entity we've elevated to arbiter. I have no idea what I'm talking about right now, nor ever.

That's Gnosticism. The evil Demiurge created the physical world. You see, all this was already known two thousand years ago.

Gnostics believe that the material world was created by a lesser deity which they call the Demiurge (literally "public craftsman").
The Demiurge is a hostile demonic force who creates the material world in order to trap the spiritual elements.

Why? Lucifer got the world. He created everything. If god had created the universe it would be completely different.

My scenario involves satan supplanting god in heaven. You said that is what Gnosticism is, now you’re saying that’s not the case and satan is resigned to ruling earth in the gnostic system.
That’s not to say that your contribution wasn’t interesting, it was. It’s just not the same situation. A god of this earth may run things here but it sounds like that entity would have limited power. What I’m thinking Is of a situation where the original deity is forced into serving a corrupted version of his own creation.
I suppose insofar as the Gnostics believe satan rules the earth and is able to exert influence over worldly affairs, the effect is more or less the same as it concerns humanity. In my scenario, the imperfect being satan is the new god and this is why the world is imperfect. In the gnostic system, satan is the god of this earth and the world is imperfect.
I’m pretty sure a lot of traditional Christian sects refer you Satan as the god of this world or the god of the air, implying his dominion is limited to the realm of the mortal and of the dammed; satan cannot exert power within heaven. Doesn’t really make the Gnostics seem all that special.
