Why is God not referring to humanity when he says "let us make man in our image"
And who was God referring to when he used the pronoun, "us" and "our" -

The language used in the Bible was written by men. The exact language That may have been used By god is very much not likely to be anything of this world. All our concepts about what is may not be applicable to whatever this god is.
Why do you assume there needs to be a male and a female? You need to employ a more objective approach to speculating about what this entity is. Do you really think god would need to mate to create life? If not, why would there be males or females? Why only two entities? Shouldn’t there be an entire race of the these god creatures? Are they immortal?
The Bible cannot offer a clear view into the past because it was written by human males, who are fallible. All their biases will have bled through into both their interpretation of events as well as how those interpretations are transcribed. Fuck you, Donna.

I agree with you. God being spiritual in nature, why would he need to be concerned with sex? A god is likely above such petty mortal concerns. Just like god doesn’t need to worry about dying like we do, I doubt he has to worry about going to the bathroom or having sex like we do. Totally different needs.
