It never occurred to me that anyone spending time here
might not be enjoying it.
I thought 'Nobody in their right mind would do something every day, by their own choice, that they found to be Hell'.
Sadly, I have realized I was wrong. Some people will spend a lot of time doing something while not enjoying it at all.. Seems strange but it's true.
Is posting here Hell for you?
Do you post here because you enjoy it, or because you're being forced to for some reason? -

'Melanie' stated that posting here for the past 18 months has been 'Hell for her'.
I don't understand it. Why spend time doing an optional activity that you don't enjoy at all?
It is simply not logical behavior. -

When I first saw that 18 months of Hell post, it reminded me of the opening lines of
Annie Hall
.

Pffft! 18 months is nothing. It's been ten long years of Hell for me. Well, except for the two years I just lurked. That was like normal torture.

Yeah, you know, the problem is Photobucket. It used to be a good site. Now whenever I go there, the pages are slow to load, probably because of all the ads there. And a pic link used to open instantly with just that pic in the browser. Now it seems to alternate between that and showing the pic nestled in the site where you can see all the rest of the 200+ pics, too.
I could look for an alternative site, but my Gallic laziness combines with my Latinate voluptuousness with the result that I would rather eat and make love with my face than fight it.

Nah. Anytime I've felt fed up with this place I've taken a break. It's not so bad. Eventually I'd get curious to see what was happening and I'd swing back in.
