Why would one need to believe in God or that Jews are God's "chosen people" to oppose anti-Semitism? It's not like people need a religious reason to oppose things like racism, sexism or homophobia.

Well, the Israelis aren't Semites. They're Khazars. You can start with that.
And there's no such thing as homophobia. It's a meaningless political term made up by queers to achieve political goals.

Science/reality says you're an imbecile.
Some of them had ancestors in that area of the world thousands of years ago. Big deal. It doesn't prove anything. It doesn't even prove that their ancestors were of the Jewish lineage. You should have known beforehand that this argument was a loser, just like you. Perhaps you should stick to something you know about, like guns.

I am sticking to things I know about, uneducated little simpleton, so take your own advice. Stick only to things you know about, which means you would never attempt to communicate again.

You're really hung up on semantics, aren't you? Jews aren't technically speaking Semites and hateful, bigoted attitudes or actions against homosexuals aren't usually based on fear. I guess the treatment of minority groups is beside the point and it's the exact literal meanings of words that we should all be focusing on.

Of homosexuals or homosexuality. My point is you shouldn't dismiss homophobia as a non-existent thing just because it's irrational antipathy rather than irrational fear that the "homophobes" feel. Homophobia has a well-established meaning in common use. So debating the original or the literal meaning of the term is pointless. It comes across as either genuine stupidity or as a weaselly attempt at derailing the discussion.
The same goes for anti-Semitism. The question of whether or not Jews are strictly speaking Semites is completely irrelevant.
