That's the spirit.
Last night I saw New Jack City on tv. I had forgotten so much it was like watching a new movie. It's fun to spot the actors you know from their later movies. I quickly recognized Easy Wind. I was surprised to see Nick Ashford in his only movie role. If you're unfamiliar with the name, he and his lovely wife, Valerie Simpson, were a popular singing duo in the 1970s.

I love that aspect to rewatching older films. School Ties is one that for a while I'd rewatch and notice someone else. Pretty much all the people from that movie went on to become lead men in other films.
I recently watched Scent of a Woman, same deal. And it had that beautiful actress from Things to Do in Denver. Love that woman.
EditGabrielle Anwardoesn't seem to have aged as well as I'd hoped.

How did we even swing that big Pit meetup when it happened in NYC? Whoever coordinate that deserves a gold star.

We chose NYC because that area already had the largest number of posters and was easily accessible to a few more. Ems researched the restaurants/bars. I sent out 50 invitations each year with all the info and oversaw the RSVPs. I didn't realize how difficult it was to coordinate until I tried it. It's just hard to get that many posters in one place at the same time because of work, school, money, etc. You were at the 2007 dinner and we came to your excellent Halloween party after the 2008 dinner. Guyzzerino and I stayed with DAdvocate and Draco stayed with Emily/kosk.
Ems and kosk later got married after first meeting on the Pit. They got into a serious argument the first time they debated on the board. It was just like in the old movies where the woman says "oh, that man just infuriates me!" and you just know they're gonna get married.
