What defines you? underneath your skin, tissue, organs, bones?

That reminds me of a scene from
What Dreams May Come (1998)
:
Albert:
If you lost all your limbs, wouldn't you still be you?
Chris:
I'd still be me.
Albert:
So what is the "me"?
Chris:
My brain, I suppose.
Albert:
Your brain? Your brain is a body part. Like your fingernail or your heart. Why is that the part that's you?
Chris:
Because I have sort of a voice in my head, the part of me that thinks, that feels, that is aware that I exist at all.
Albert:
So if you're aware you exist, then you do. That's why you're still here. -

Cogito ergo sum.
All the physical parts are constantly changing. I might look the same as I did a little while back but all those visible cells have been replaced. It's the model, the functioning, that matters.
All roads lead to truth if you're willing to travel honestly. -

Cogito ergo sum.
What?
All the physical parts are constantly changing. I might look the same as I did a little while back but all those visible cells have been replaced. It's the model, the functioning, that matters.
You misunderstand, I didn't mean what defines your physical existence, I meant, what defines you as a living, breathing, feeling, thing, what of your contributions and achievements? what do you hope to contribute to the Universe? Hopefully that makes more sense.
