Black ballerinas are weakening the art of ballet.
I've been watching the black principal ballerinas.
What I notice is that their dancing is subpar to the weakest Corp ballerinas that are white or Asian.
Take this BLACK ballerina for example. While her jumps and turns are technically strong, her por te bra is TERRIBLE.
"Por te bra"is a French expression that means "arm-bearing", a fundamental term in classical ballet that describes the harmonious and elegant movement of a dancer's arms between the different positions (first, second, third, fourth and fifth), coordinated with the torso, head and gaze, and which is trained through specific exercises to improve grace and posture.
Hers looks sloppy and untrained!
AND she complains about how ballet shouldn't be perfect.
But I think it's just her way of making excuses for just not being capable of completing with the other ballerinas.
She wants the community to acquiesce to mediocrity.
The choreography must be simplified in order for her to look good.
I really dislike that. I resent her for not meeting the challenge. Be the best! Stop expecting us to take it easy on you because you are a black woman!
But I will not! Ballet is perfect. It is one of the only art form that emphasis perfection. That is why it has remained a high art form.

when you were enrolled in Ballet Camp, did one of the staff touch you inappropriately? what else would explain your anger about Ballet, especially black ballet? of all people you specifically ought to promote black ballerinas
