You point a camera at something and press a button. Wow. Real impressive, asshole. Lol.

Everyone thinks that, but you can usually tell when people get cheap with **** like wedding photos, grad photos, etc. Lighting, angle, perspective, and so many other factors go into it. Sometimes, like with surrealist ****, it's more about creating a scene.
This is one thing of many that can show you the difference.

What's interesting about them? Like I said, I'd have toned down the better ones a bit, but overall, they look better. They bring out the beauty in the mundane.
The so-called natural ones aren't really that natural. They looked more washed out than real life. -

I hate snobbery and pretentiousness… but I think I hate the kind of snobbery shown in this thread more. They seriously overestimate the average person's talent and creativity.
It's like people who look down on people who buy name brand clothing. Can't you enjoy your Walmart without needing to put others down? -

Look at the pics at your link. The definition of pretension. Take a pic of your kid sitting in the grass, add some bloom and alter the colors, and act like it's the Sistine Chapel. Nice try, except it comes off more as a Thomas Kinkade. Lol. Trash. Photography is trash.

Wrong.
They look better. They're more vibrant. They bring attention to the beauty of the moment rather than just seeing some washed out pic of some mundane thing.
The alterations correct the washed out images. I would tone it down a little, but they clearly look better than the greyish point and click kind. -

So much stupidity… so much troll… so much "I hate my life and have to criticize others in order to forget about my misery for awhile."
Sucks to be you.
Apparently, stupid people

This is constructive criticism. As someone who is better than others, accompanying my superiority is superior tastes. I'm trying to help you guys. Photography is not art.
Nah. It's exactly everything I said above, creepo.
