Thanks.
Being trapped on a plane and getting violent or even loud is an invitation to get arrested. An arrest can ruin your life, so you have to be extremely delusional about your goals to let that happen.
Probably 100% of people on planes are going to have money, jobs, and so on. They aren't random types of people. So, something psychological is going on that fits the situation. -

It can be a real jungle at airports filled with North Americans some days
Heightened tensions, delays or cancelations and just basic decency not being utilised are probably factors for the increase in incidences.
And polarity in political leanings, that's bound to be a component for some.

"This is the captain speaking. We'd like all strong males to come to the front of the aircraft to handle a problem passenger,"
FAA should recruit from here since we have some strong as apes brutes on here.
FAA needs to retroactively deputize any passengers who help subdue/kill unruly.
also grant total immunity aganist any federal lawsuits.- take your/any laptop and smash it on the perp's head. airline will reimburse.
- take belts and tie the ****er so his feet touch neck. stuff socks in mouth.
- 3-4 pens or pencils inserted into throat will work. same number of plastic forks or knives.
- body spray or perfume into eyes.

I think this is partly because of all the excess stress and pressure caused by the COVID pandemic. Moreover, a lot of these folks probably haven't been on a plane in over a year, so they are seriously lacking in any decorum or social graces. I was talking to a lady who works in cafe at the Sam's Club I work at as a rotisserie chicken cook at and she told me that a lot of the members she deals with in her department have become increasingly rude, pushy, and downright hostile as a direct result of all the social restrictions implemented because of COVID-19. This reminds me of all the folks screaming at me at work back in November and December of 2001 due to the fact that were were furious over 9/11 and needed someone to unload on who couldn't say or do anything about it.

The cafe lady pointed out that since the shutdown happened, people have even fewer social graces and far less regard for others. It's a good thing I was picked on in high school or else I wouldn't be able to deal with nasty people in retail.
