Terrible service as usual. I'm usually supportive of public transport (and I used to like riding the trains and trolleys in Boston) but avoid the MBTA (or the "T") if you're ever here. Rent a car or take a cab or uber to places you want to go to, if possible. Other cities (NYC, Wash D.C., Philly, Toronto, etc.) have kept their public transportation systems in better shape. Boston's MBTA is old and outdated and the service sucks and the employees are, on average, rude and stupid. Sadly, many working class people still rely on the "T" to get them places. -

I drive my car. This is a big country, and public transit is for people who are too young, too old or too infirm to drive.
