Okay I'm going to have to turn over all the cards, since there's only one option left, and
nobody guessed it.
It is indeed the
Stratolaunch
which was first successfully flown on April 13, 2019, beating out the An-225, the previous record holder.
At 385 feet, the wingspan of the Stratolaunch is longer than a football field, and needs two cockpits and fuselages. It's designed to launch rockets into low earth orbit from mid-air.

A year later and the
Stratolaunch
is no longer an active plane. I'd never fly in that awful thing. That middle wing must be either too heavy or too weak. I wouldn't trust it to keep that flying catamaran together in a turbulent storm.

This trivia contest certainly stirred up more controversy than I expected. Could that possibly be because nobody got the right answer? Though Drakestraw recused himself becuase he saw the answer when researching The Spruce Goose.
